Tim Ferriss is the King of Overwhelm Control. This is too good not to share!
He makes you think you’re big, so he wrote a book guiding you on how to have the funnest time on earth: your lifestyle on your own terms. He makes you think you’re small: you can let little bad things happen and the sky won’t fall. You are, after all, not the President of the United States.

He’s a handsome Princeton graduate who holds a Guinness world record in tango. He goes on mini-retirements and gallivants through the world seemingly defying the constraints of time and space.* He acts in movies, writes books and comes up with phrases like “in descending order of expense”, does martial arts, speaks at conventions, hangs upside-down from trees. In short, he has more fun than an electric eel in a public bath. I’ve been a fan for a month now, longer if I had known about him sooner. But late is never too late. I think he would’ve said that, too, if he could be bothered with my woes. If even good behaviours had nifty names, his would be the Pareto Syndrome: 80/20 view of all things. You’ll see. Everyone needs these two articles:
1) The Not-To-Do List: 9 Habits To Stop Now
2) The Choice-Minimal Lifestyle: 6 Formulas For More Output And Less Overwhelm
Funny how his not-to-dos come hot on the heels of my roster of to-dos. And it figures, too. His list will maybe make mine come into fruition. As of this writing, Tim’s at All Bar One in Leicester Square, London.
